Mods Women: Starting the season on the right foot

Our last training session had players from all teams attending, great numbers and an exciting week prior to our first game of the season.

For the 1's a final chat before our first game and a reminder of what running is all about! For the 2's on Wednesday Night VETS (for some of players), and for the 3's and 4's the biggest attendance at training for 2009 so far...WOW!?!?.

New Rule: The Self-play Free Hit

The objectives of the new rules for 2009: To speed up the game & reduce the possibility of danger at 'dead ball' situations in the 23m area of the field

Note: The free hit, centre pass, and putting the ball back into play, (sideline "long corner" and 15m hit). All these are now grouped together and shall be interpreted in a similar manner.

Note: the ball still has to move 1 metre if passed directly to a "team mate" from a free hit.

New Year and new website

The web site at mods is currently undergoing a move and re-develop. It should be up and running before the new season.!
